Yaesu FT-60

The Yaesu FT-60 is a dual band (VHF/UHF) handheld transceiver. It is a popular choice for first time amateur radio (HAM) operators because it is dual band (2m/140Mhz and 70cm/440Mhz) and costs 200-250 USD. There are Internet groups devoted to using the FT-60R.[1]
